The Ocoee Community Redevelopment Agency and the City of Ocoee, in partnership with the West Orange Healthcare District, selected S.A. Casey Construction as the General Contractor to transform two retention ponds into the Healthy West Orange Wellness Park. This five-acre wellness destination features a half-mile, 10-foot-wide multipurpose trail, four shaded wellness hubs (two of which are equipped with suspension fitness gear), and a picturesque boardwalk with seating for relaxation. Interactive fitness equipment includes QR codes linking to a fitness app that tracks steps and reps across 60 exercises. The project earned the FPZA’s “Outstanding Infrastructure Project” award and an APA Florida Award of Excellence in Implementation.
