One of the highlights of the renovation was the introduction of varying tower heights to enhance the visual dynamics of the plaza. By replacing the uniform low heights with three distinct towers—each with unique designs, including a decorative pergola and a main facade tower—S.A. Casey successfully broke up the monotony of the linear strip. The removal of the outdated walkway canopy further modernized the appearance, creating a cleaner and more streamlined look for the shopping center.
In addition to aesthetic improvements, the project emphasized functionality and future use. Steel reinforcements and larger concrete footings were added to support the increased height and weight of the new structures, ensuring durability and safety. S.A. Casey also coordinated closely with existing tenants, such as a restaurant, allowing them to remain open during construction. The addition of landscaping with palm trees softened the expansive asphalt parking areas, making the shopping plaza more inviting for patrons and preparing it to house future businesses like a brewery and a restaurant.
