Inspired by these early experiences, Shawn pursued a degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, combining hands-on skills with formal education. After college, he gained invaluable experience working for three prominent general contractors, mastering both field and office aspects of the industry. Just two years after graduating, he obtained his General Contracting License, setting the stage for his future venture.
In 2006, Shawn founded S.A. Casey Construction to achieve his vision of a company defined by integrity, quality, and client satisfaction. Eighteen years later, his deep industry knowledge—fortified by over 45 years of experience and continual learning in areas like OSHA compliance, building codes, and business planning—has made S.A. Casey Construction a trusted name in commercial projects across the region. Under Shawn’s leadership, the company quickly grew its reputation for innovation and excellence, delivering reliable results and building strong client relationships.
